About Me

- Teaching Experience: I have been teaching since 2007, and I am passionate about inspiring students to explore the world through literature and history.

- Education: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and English Teaching from San Diego State University, and I earned my Master’s in Education along with my Teaching Credentials from Pepperdine University.

- Professional Development: I am proud to be a UCLA Writing Project Fellow, where I continue to enhance my teaching practices and foster a love for writing in my students.

- Travel Enthusiast: As a self-proclaimed travel addict, I love exploring new cultures and cuisines. I often find inspiration for my lessons from my adventures around the globe!
