Mrs. Burman-Hamilton
With a passion for supporting diverse learners, I serve as a Middle School Resource Teacher, specializing in creating inclusive and adaptive learning environments. Holding a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFCT), I bring a unique perspective to the classroom, emphasizing the importance of emotional and social well-being in academic success.
I work closely with students, parents, and teachers to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique strengths and challenges. My background in therapy allows me to address not only academic needs but also the social and emotional aspects of learning, fostering resilience and confidence in my students.
I believe in the power of collaboration and communication, and I strive to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and empowered. Outside the classroom, I enjoy engaging in professional development to continually enhance my skills and stay current with best practices in education and mental health.
Together, let's inspire a love for learning and help every student reach their fullest potential!
At home I like playing with my 2 Dogs, Blue and Biscuit, hanging out with my 2 granddaughters, reading, swimming and spending time with my husband and family.
