We cordially invite you and your child are to attend 6th Grade New Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, from 9am to 11am at Porter MS!

The Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) Program is ending soon. Any student that needs a Chromebook at home should sign up at device.lausd.net.

Porter MS will no longer assign devices for home use from school inventory.

Porter MS will host our "Lift Off to Middle School Summer Bridge Program" for 6th grade students new to Porter on Thursday, June 13th and Friday, June 14th from 8:00am to 12:30pm!

LAUSD Region North is hosting the 2nd annual Kindness Run/Walk at Pierce College on Saturday, May 18th from 8am to 12pm.

Porter is proud to host our annual Spring Music and Art Fest on May 15th and May 16th!

Kennedy High School, our primary feeder school, will host an incoming 9th grade open house on Thursday, May 16th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
