Principals' Message

On behalf of the entire Porter Middle School faculty and staff, I welcome all students and families to the 2024-2025 school year! We are excited to have you be a part of our learning community!

It is a privilege and an honor to serve as your Principal. I truly enjoy getting to know each of my students, and supporting them in achieving their goals. That support begins with my commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, academically rigorous, and positive school environment. In addition, our entire staff is dedicated to ensuring every child is challenged and pushed to reach their full potential.

The middle school years for students is a time of transition between elementary school and high school. Students are becoming more independent, establishing new peer groups, and learning more about their own passions and interests. The relationship between school staff and families is critical in ensuring your child successfully navigates the middle school years. Families are partners in all that we do at Porter, and I look forward to your support, and collaboration, as we work together to develop your child’s academic and social skills.

I hope your son or daughter is as excited to return to school as we are to receive them! I look forward to working side by side with you to ensure your scholar’s success!
