We will hold a Hybrid orientation and election meetings to facilitate participation for all who are interested in participating in SSC.

Back to School Night is Thursday, September 3, from 5:00–7:00 PM!

Families are invited to meet teachers, learn about the school year, and connect with our Porter community.

Before Back to School Night, we also invite all families to attend:

• 4:00–4:30 PM: School Site Council (SSC) & English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) Orientations — Room 15
• 4:30–5:00 PM: GATE Parent Meeting — Library

These meetings are open to all families, and we encourage everyone to attend and be part of our school community. We look forward to seeing you on September 3!

Attention all 6th graders! Please join us in for ice cream in Trojan Hall as we start our middle school journey together at Porter MS! Just can't hide, that Porter PRIDE!

Makeup picture day will be held on Monday, 8/31/2026 from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm in Trojan Hall. All students and staff must take their photo ID. See attachments for more information.
